all I keep.

as you left me on that island

i began to think

i thought of all the love you gave me

and all the memories you left me.

i dreamed on that island

things that can only happen

in a dream.

i dreamt you told me

that you still loved me.

as I lay thirsting for your love

I thought of one thing

all left my mind except this

that you,

that you would come back to me.

i gave up everything to be on this island

you left my everything on that island.

the only thing I needed was you,

and that's the only thing you took away

from me.
