All I Need

All I need

Is an unbreakable spirit

and willingness to learn.

College will try to break me,

with its finals,

neverending homework,

and teachers that do not understand the concept of other classes.

As long as I can hold my head high,

and keep my eyes on my passion to learn,

I will easily jump over whatever college decides to throw at me.

But if my spirit breaks even the slightest bit,

I may trip,

and fall down a path that leads me away from my goal.

That's why all I need,

is a spirit that will never crack
