all i need
The sound of white cloudy waves, and smell of roaring salty seas, penatrate my nostrils. The stinging of sand beneath my feet causing my toes to curl, the blinding gold rays stretched across my face warming me as if i were its nesting chic.
This island a place of solitude and beauty, I know I can do great things here. he asks me what I will need to see myself through this challenge. I tell him I already have what I need , something intangible and unique to me as my own person , something nobody else has in common with me.
Dreaming while awake , creating through instinct, the only thing I need is something I already have; imagination
To be alone is to be in your own head with constant ideas, fears , and questions that only you can answer .
To be alone is to comfort yourself, I bring my special mental ability so that I will be able to reach new excitements everyday, so I will not put myself In a place where I can no longer reach my humanity, or my feelings of joy.
I use my imagination as a tool, as an advantage , I see three big palm trees and make a shelter , I find my self blistering from the summers heat; the coconuts near by. I spread there oils on me to heal my skin and prevent future harm.
When I find myself bored and lonely when I find myself dangerously close to giving up, I create my own solitary island sport, to distract myself;so that I don't dig my self into a bottomless emotional pit.
I value my imagination because without it I could not survive on a island that has a population of just me. It keeps me from looking at the facts , it gives me hope and a purpose , it creates new means of survival based on what I find myself creating , my imagination Is my survival
