All I Need
If there were only one thing in life you couldn't live without, what would it be?
Would it be the love for your mother, or the love for your brother?
How about your favorite pet
Or the necklace around your neck?
Could it be the stars, or the way the sun falls?
If there were only one thing in life I couldn't live without, what would it be?
Well, I suppose it would be the air I breathe
The air within my lungs
the air that holds the sun
For without air I couldn't go anywhere
I wouldn't be able to feel the leaves or hang from the trees,
Without air my mother would of never cared
I wouldn't live the life I live now
Maybe I wouldn't even be around
because without the air how would I breathe
how would you look at me
Without the sun there is no light
Without the air there is no life
If there were only one thing in life I couldn't live without, what would it be?
Well, I suppose it would be the air I breathe
the air I use to love
the air I use to see the stars above
the air I use to laugh
the air I use to cry
the air I use to wonder why
All I need is the air I breathe
and everything else in between.
