All I Need

On an island, all alone

I only wish to go back home

As I hear the birds sing

I hope to acquire just one thing

Closing my eyes, without fear

I picture those buds in my ear

With a familiar tune ringing through my head

I remember what my mother once said

"The best thing in life is music"

That is why I must pick

To hear the beat of the bass drum's kick

On that island, all alone

I might be okay with not going home
