All I need

All I need is that cold gust across my skin

as you loom over me

like the sense someone is always there

to watch my back while I sleep

to keep my fire lit at night

to keep me well to fight

to keep me sane

so I know I am not living in vain

all I need is you

to know you kept your promise

to know you never left
