All I Need

All I need is a chance

One chance to define myself

Since I was a little child, I was always who to be,

What to wear

What I can and can’t eat

Do this; don’t do that

Like him, not her.

Love a god who never proved their existence in my life

Now almost 18 years old and I don’t know who I am as a person;

So now all I need is to know who I am in myself.

What do I need out of my life that I live?

I need an education to take me to where I always dreamed to be since I was 14 years old;

Running camera on the set of the next blockbuster or working with a famous band or artist that year.

I need to love myself because I’m all I have at the end of the day.

All I need is the confidence to stop trying to please and satisfy everyone else and focus on myself.

All I need is me.
