All I Need
All I need in life is some air,
my perfect hair,
someone who cares,
the faith of anyone who dares.
All of these things
I think that I need,
Useless things, but where would I be without my keys?
On my feet, left sore to bleed.
All of these necessities
I value at one time or another,
all equally important to me,
but I would be nowhere without my mother.
She is my air,
gifter of hair,
the one who cares,
my faith, the one who dares.
The giver of things,
the one who lets me fly under her wings,
allowing me to soar,
and reach new heights, like never before.
My heart,
since the very start.
The one thing in life I need,
who helps me succeed at everything.
