All I Need

If I was stranded on a deserted island,

In which  I could have only one thing with me,

I would want to have my twin brother with me.

My brother is my best friend.

My shoulder to cry on.

My go-to person when something is wrong.

My other half.

He knows me better

Than anyone else in my life.

We share a bond

That only other twins would understand.

I would want him with me

To help me survive on the island,

To help keep me smiling when times get hard,

To help me laugh

When I can hardly manage a smile.

I love my brother.

He is my favorite person

And I honestly could not imagine life without him.
