I'm not talking about my laugh, or my hair, or my smile, or my style

But the me that holds peace

Peace with myself

Peace with my home

Peace with every boy and girl

Peace that becomes so inspiring and contagious that it spreads around the whole wide world

The peace that makes me walk outside everyday and enjoy what life offers

The peace that gets me excited to one day have a son or daughter

The peace that lets me know that I can get through anything

The peace that won't allow me to quit on anything

The peace that inspires me to do good in the future

The peace that says I can do anything

If theirs one thing that I can't live without it would be the peace that I hope to bring

Nowadays people live in a facade claiming that they're happy

They drown their pain with a ring or the money and the bling

They drown their pain by drowning someone else down with them

Killing innocent bystanders who all they wanted to do was be near them

If theirs one thing that I can't live without it's something that everyone holds dear

It's the one thing that we all strive for but can't achieve out of fear

We are looking for peace

And we search through pieces and pieces looking for ways to fix the puzzle

If theirs one thing I can't live without, I would bring that and hopefully eliminate the struggle
