All I Need

All I want and all I need

Is my incredible mother standing next to me.

To hold me tight when times get tough,

Just her presence and love is enough.

My mom and I, We've been through a lot.

And sometimes it feels like she's all I've got.

She held my hand as I shook in fear

helping me get ready my first date.

And she's the first one that will cheer

when I do something great.

When I go off to college,

I'll miss her more than she'll know.

And I'd like to acknowledge

She makes really delicious cookie dough.

She's supermom, the best one out there.

To be just like her is my goal,

But people like her are rare.
