All I Need

What's the one thing I need

What is crucial to the life I lead

What pleasure keeps me breathing

What faith keeps me believing

An idea that keeps me pressing on

A man that pulls my heart along

My mother who held me in her arms

Or seeds, that grow food in farms 

What keeps me going 

So vital that on a lonsome island 

It's the one thing that I value 

If I were dropped from the sky

On a little piece of land

The one thing I would hope 

That I held in my hand

Wouldn't be company
