All I Need

What a stereotypical question

What is it you need to survive,

To thrive.

So many answers rush through my head,

but it all boils down to one all encomapssing word:

Love.

I need the love I feel for my music,

For my writing,

For my baking.

I need the love I feel from my family,

The support they give.

I need the love given to me by him,

The way he protects me;

Makes sure I'm ok.

I need the love between my friends,

The smiles, and laughter;

The tears and consoluing.

It may sound cheesy,

But truly if you have love in your life,

Then you have everything.

You have passion and happiness,

Strength and courage,

You have what you need to get through this day,

and the next.
