Is deafening

Whispers

Are comforting

And haunting

One thing soothes the soul

One thing soothes my soul

Quiets the mind

And relaxes the heart

Gives you company when you’re alone

Gives you solitude when you’re surrounded

Invokes love and hatred

Instills peace and harmony

Memories of the past

Dreams of the future

One thing I can’t live without
