All I need...
All I need,
What could it be?
My house, food, the drinks?
Perhaps my mom who caresses me to sleep,
Or is it the love that lifts me up to see,
The wonders of the world that I didn’t believe.
I ponder and wonder upon this question,
Without knowing my real answer.
I think, think about it as I write
But my thoughts couldn’t find it,
The answer to my needs.
This question frustrates me and puts me into despair
As I try to answer it as I breathe your air.
It wasn’t until now that I thought
About the thing that without it makes me not.
I drown in deep contemplations,
In a sea of preoccupations.
Soon enough thinking maybe “Without it I could die,”
And remembered about the one who gave me life.
You who lies in the heavens above,
The one who gave his only son,
To protect and forgive me for my sins,
The one that I worship and for eternity need.
