All I Need

          All I Need

Is confidence in deed.

To carry me throughout my hardships

and to put my negative mind at ease.

To show me that in life you can not always do what you please;

you must pay attention to priorities and offset silly things.

          All I Need

Is love for myself.

If I can't love me, I sure as hell won't love anyone else.

Society's views has shown people to downgrade themselves

and taught them that you have to look for self-love through someone else.

          All I Need

Is scholarships please.

I am trying to make my way into college with much ease.

I can not do it on my own and high school has taught me,

that every opportunity that arises, I must jumpforth with a leap.

           All I Need

Is my family at last.

This first step into college

will sure make them forget the past.

They have taught me to do as much as I can with what I  have.

And, to never stop striving forward, even when I am on the right path.
