All I need

All alone it is your friend

In the night it fills your mind

In the seclusion of nature it whispers in your ear

Imagination.

When sadness wraps its way around your mind it frees you

When words cut deep and glares slice

It shields you from it's brutality

Imagination.

In my mind pictures grow like the wild roses

In my heart words form like waves on a dark shore

From my fingers paintings erupt like smoke from a fire

In my soul it keeps me sane

In my mind it pushes me towards greater things

Imagination.
