All I Need

All I need is that rhythm and beat

Something to distract me

Something to let my mind wonder so I no longer ponder

My existence

Music is all I need

That one two three four

One two three four

One...two...three...four

Turn these palm trees into kick drums

and their leaves into my cymbals

The rough waves giving me a tempo to follow

The coarse sand keeps my instruments sturdy

To a point where nothing can take them away from me

Further instilling the fact in me that even while stranded

Music is all I need
