All I Need
Eyes closed, feeling the island's abandoned atmosphere
Eyes open, first thought that comes to mind is, "Where do I go from here?"
No worries, all I need is music in my ears
For it was here through all the years I added and let go of peers
It speaks for me when my mouth cannot form words
Its speaks to me before I join the crowd and inhale herbs
I don't know how I feel, but so do the artists that sit down and try to harmonize to the rhythm that's published
They get it.
They understand that without music, what will life be like?
What other form of expression can I show to anyone on how beautiful they are, am I right?
The world would be silent. More silent than the police brutality and black on black violence.
I find relaxation through peaceful neo-soul.
That's what it speaks to as if, in the beginning, that was its goal.
