"All I Need"
Naked, alone, afraid.
Open to the harsh winds of an
Island in the middle
Of a desolate sea.
Shaken to the core,
No safe harbor
Winds slicing through ideals;
Beliefs.
“What do you want,
What do you need?”
They whisper,
I shudder.
Alone.
Without a light to guide
Empty.
Without a soul.
Deep inside I wish to rise
To sail away from the island
Of naked fear and solitude
For all I need, and this is true:
A life to share with you.
