All I Need
All I need
Gravity.
Seven letters for the strength to hold millions of species on planet earth.
As much as we would like to think Stability and Gravity are the same,
Gravity protects us from being swept away
But stability braces us against the impact
The impact of life when it turns hazardous,
When to be or not to be is the question.
When others find stability in a rock glued to a ring,
I see stability in your stature and the way you look at me.
You find stability in a tipsy bottle
While I look around for my father, No longer in this country
Not around.
Stability is my father,
Stability is my in his embrace,
Stability is what I lost when I was shattered,
Stability is the one thing that matters.
It is my peace of mind.
I find it in people and actions
Rather than words and materialistic things.
I find it in love rather than money
I depend on it more than any other thing.
I find it in his voice rather than my decisions,
I find it in the hope that I might have purpose.
What true stability is, is the question.
Stability is what I need most,
What I crave most.
