All I Need
The pounding in my heart is insatiable.
When I crave for lips,
When I yearn for his voice
When I marvel at the image of his face in my mind,
I feel whole. Even if he is not here,
Even if he does not yearn for me
My blood still rushes at the thought of him
And my knees weaken And a smile graces my lips.
I giggle when he looks my way
I sit in wonder at the possibility
Of us.
When my heart does not beat for him I miss the joy
The possibilities
The pain
That he comes with.
I learn to never hear his name the same way ever again.
Yes, when he is scraped from my thoughts
I am void of pain
But I am also deprived of that racing if my heart
That I am in love with...
The prospect of being in love
Has enamored me
More than anyone has.
He makes me itch for my pen
When I hear of him.
I feel empty,
Null
When he is absent from my thoughts.
When I am alone I think of him;
Wherever he may be
Whomever he may be
And I have all I need.
