All I need

Eternal pain is the poison you have to bear 
For all the suffrage you've laid upon your own kin
You call yourself the father, when all you are is someone who feels like once in a while is enough
It's clearly not 
I've had to live without someone to guide me for my entire existence
No warm hugs at night
No understandment within mistakes
but especially no idea who your daughter truly is
You feed me with vigorous lies and excuses
"It's for the best honey"
are constant words I hear from your mouth that have no meaning but only to reassure yourself that what you're doing is okay
This is not how I should have to live 
I should be experiencing the best of both worlds with two people that care more about me than anything 
Instead, I sit in my own mind, watching others enjoy what I wish I had
I yearn for that happiness that was lost to me in my adolescent years 
A blank mind is all I have when it comes to our memories, because there have been none we've shared
You are gone when I need you most
You are busy when I want to see you
and you're never here when my emotions are breaking
You are a mysterious figure that only enters my thoughts 
little by little
with each passing day
before eventually your face will be of no recognition in my eyes
So I conclude, father 
Don't stay hidden any longer
Don't suffer the future regret you know you're going to have
Be the father you were put on this earth to be
and pay attention to the most important person in your life...

Because you are the most important person in my life...
