All I Need - The Ballad of The Lost

Do not fret my weathered soul

do not flee from your darkened hole

for though we sway like the tattered branch

we are held together by what we hold

Our hearts will echo in our hallowed chest

and though we may try our best

we have nothing below or above

if we do not have some form of love

All i need and all you hold

is what ignites our eyes in the cold

and keeps our shaking bones still

as we lose any power of will

Love, is the answer i may offer up to you

and even if you deny it, you know its true

that as light fades and we are only few

you will not fear the night with a love so true.
