All I Need is Control?

What is control?

This two syllable word that seems to hold all the power,

A six letter word that drives people to do the unthinkable,

This consonant dominate word that can make or break someone.

Why does anyone need control?

It’s the power of course!

It’s the chance to decide how happens, it’s the chance to decide why it happens, and it’s the chance to decide where it happens, it’s the chance to decide when it happens, it’s the chance to decide what happens, and it’s most importantly the chance to decide who it happens to.

The power and control is something no one can live without.

Why is it important to me?

Control is something I need on a daily basis, an hourly basis, every second of my life.

Control to me is like the oxygen I breathe.

It’s a necessity.

Without control, I am left stranded at sea.

My sails are up, but no wind blows.

The real need is?

I claim that I need all this control and power yet I refuse to look at the other side of the coin.

The other side to this  coin is actual reality.

I can’t control everything.

I can’t hold all the power.

I can’t fully decide how my life will turn out.

Maybe what I really need; is a reality check.
