All I Need is Him

Let the tumble weeds fly

let the Lillie of the field die

I cannot move any farther

all I need is Him,

as though the pain is not enough

my head is swinging because life is tough

no where to turn, no one can help me

all I need is Him,

I've searched all over

I've tried to find shelter a place of cover

but still I come to this place I wish I would never

to find out, all I need is Him

could I not have just accepted the reality

walk as though I have His authority

but instead I spent years struggling

when all I need is Him.

He who formed me with his hands

breathed in to me the breath of life

there is no wonder at my strife when I do not accept this reality

that all I need is Him
