All I Need Is Him

Oh, goodness! I have done it again. I have written another cheesy and expected verse. When language and emotions are so diverse, Why have all my other efforts proven in vain? I tried so very hard, Tried not to make it about him. But I keep choosing the same card. I guess there's no way to this flame dim. Therefore, without further delay, That he is all I need, I shall declare. He is my friend, my lover, my air. I shall feel this way even as I decay, Even as the earth crumbles with wear. He is all I need, tomorrow and today.
