All I Need is Lacrosse

Why do we walk?

Why do we breathe?

Why do trees grow hundreds of leaves?

Why do critters run and hide

When a red-tailed hawk flies by?

Why do flowers attract the bees?

Why do fish not leave the seas?

Why do I ask all these "why's"?

These things are a must to survive.

Lacrosse is a game of strength and smart.

It requires bravery and lots of heart,

A will of steel along with drive,

Teamwork, running, passes and dives.

When the day ends, it's hard to part,

From not just a sport, but a form of art.

I need lacrosse to help me survive,

it is a must to feel alive.
