All I Need Is Love

All i can feel is the need to be wanted

To love and be loved

The touch of another to sooth me

The hugs of another to move me

A kiss that lights up the night

By a beautiful girl brighter than the sunlight

But this love this want for lust

With anyone i can not just trust

For i dont want the love of a girl

But that of a woman whom i called mother

Her hugs warm as summer could be replaced by no other

The comforting smile she kept when good times would stutter

Oh man how i miss my mother

Taken from me by God's grasp

My happiness was something i realized would last

For her heart had stopped and my life took a flop

So just like that when i was at the top i fell low

deep down in my own sorrow

I cried and tried to forget the terrible day

But there had never been anything to make me feel this way

Didn't have a way to cope

I had begun to lose all hope

Then it hit me an amazing truth I had friends that would see me through

They love me and hug not quite like mom

But its enough to make me stay happy and smile

Thanks mom i know it been awhile

I've been fine i can promise that

But mom you can really thank all my friends for having my back
