All I need is money.

All I need is money.

I'm sure that sounds a bit scummy,

But don't worry let me tell you why;

I am not trying to be funny,

I am only stating it bluntly.

Here, let me clarify;

I can't ask for $5,000 from my daddy,

My parents just don't have that sort of cash handy.

I am not begging for tears from my reader's eye.

I just don't come from a family blessed with plenty,

But neither are many from this greed-driven country.

I guess I should specify;

I crave an education,

A worthwhile inclination to be the best version of a person, But apparently I can't due to my parent's financial situation. Because I need to have the funds to pursue meaningful instruction for a career that would only benefit succeeding generations. The tragic truth of our nation. All I need is money because all I need is a way to gain the education that will give me a lifelong job where the pay is greater than its cost.
