All I need, not all i want
All I need in the world of sin, is my mother..
not my uncle, not a cousin, not even a friend.
If i was stuck on a island , my mother would think of something to get us away,
She's so focused, she can stay on task with the sun beaming on her on a summers day.
All I need in the world of sin, is my mother..
When my father was killed by the police, my mother was the only one to dry my eyes
It seems like no one else cares, I keep asking God to hear my cries.
I know that in due time, ill be fine .. if i wake up and smell the coffee
All I need in the world of sin, is my mother..
I come from a family who wasnt born into money.
everything we have is earned, nothing was given, nothing's as sweet as honey.
My mother created me with a big heart, and a level head.
I plan on becoming a nurse in the future, not somewhere on the streets and dead
All i need in the world of sin, is my mother..
