All I Need In Order To Live
All I need
Is all I’ve got
But if that were true
Then why do I still want more?
I’ve got a family
I’ve got friends
I’ve got clothes on my back
And a roof over my head
I’ve got all I need to survive
But that’s the thing
I’ve got all I need to survive
But what do I need in order to live?
To survive is not entirely living
No, in order to live I must strive
In order to strive I must fight
In order to fight I must have the will power.
The will, that is what I need
The will to fight
To stay strong
To survive
To live.
Take everything from me
My family
My friends
My possessions
Everything I love and cherish
Brake me
Crush me
Destroy me
I will survive.
Because my will drags me on
Pulling me through hell and back
Pushing me to continue on
Even if I do not want to.
You can break me
But you will not harm my will.
I will not let you
Without it I cannot live
I cannot fight
I cannot survive.
I must live
I must fight
I must survive
Because that is what my will wants
And that is what my will shall get.
