All I Need Scholarship Slam

She has; I have...

Her body is without sin,
Our scars are still the same,
I have a past;
She has a future.

She knows not of pure thought
That there are only whispers in the air her ears can barely hear,
Where my soul screams with not
A rage like fire burning hotter than her tears,
The sight of moving paradise my eyes are for tomorrow,
Not today.
Her tears of sorrow;
My tears of joy.

Water is poisoned whilst the land is rich in gold,
My mind is lost with vines ready to unfold
I know now not what to do.
My possession of the heart
I wish by aching toil that I distinguish the faces apart,
My love is nothing;
Her love is everything.

Pages of ink would fade in his divine sight,
Relics, glimpses of treasure buried resurface to reveal my plight
Of how the first of our own decay
The moment we slip away,
Perhaps the memory of love will never stray.
Is this peace? I dare not say.
I have a past;
She has the present.
