All I Need Scholarship Submittion

The perpetually greasy shine on the cover of a graphic novel.

The loud cackle of my best friend Victoria:

her eyes shut and head turned.

The advice Bri texts me at 2 am.

Shania and I slugging cokes and playing Saints Row after getting hit on at McDonalds.

This is all I could possibly want.

This is what I need.

The blindness of youth scares me.

My past mistakes are white shadows that crouch over my bed:

Chilled boney fingers that drag over my skin- making me remember every regret.

No, No, No.

Hot Fuss by The Killers on the car radio as I drive underneath the yellow sky

The friend like comfort I get from my IPhones playlist.

The certainty and positivity that oozes from life as I near my graduation.

This is all I could want.

This is all I could possibly need.
