All I Need Is Thought

Lock me in a cell,

Bury me in a crowd of people,

Take away all that is material,

But I will endure.

People have been torn away,

New faces have drowned me,

Treasures have come and gone,

But I have endured.

My mind keeps me company,

My inner worlds have familiar faces,

My stories replace what I can no longer hold,

My thoughts are all I need to endure.
