All I need time

All I have are endless waves of stress

People stacking up work thinking I'll be fine

More responsibilities being given to hands that are full

All I need is time 

Time to see what I've actually accomplished 

Time to reflect on my past achievements

Just some time between storms

It's like a boat in the middle of the ocean

Each wave of stress is a storm 

Each coming one after another

Throwing me around for an endless amount of time

All I need is time

Time to see where I am

Time to recollect myself after these storms

Just some time to be still

All this stress is like a knife

Before one comes out another goes in

Each more difficult to pull out 

Each stabber inserting their knife with a smile

All I need is some time

Time to know that I'm somehow still alive

Time to hear that my heart's still beating

Just some time to know im still here
