All I Need is Time

As I age, I learn more and more

That time is a precious gift we cannot store

Think of human life as a line

With all future life ahead and all past behind

Our time on earth is relatively small

Compared to the big picture of it all

Time can be spent in many different ways

Each to their own for the rest of their days

From time I hope it is knowledge I acquire

For knowledge leads to wisdom and wisdom spreads like fire

Our time on earth is a number unknown

So sit and think about the life you have sewn

My goal is that when my time comes to an end

I can look back at my life and want to play it again.
