All I Need in this World of Black and White
Life before you was never a life at all.
So bland, so black and white.
From the moment I knew of you I was so unsure
until that awakening night.
Though we've officially met only a year ago,
while the moon had risen up high.
The very moment I saw you,
everything was finally right.
There was a change in me, all of my surroundings,
and the way that I saw the world.
An instant vivid view of color, all because of one little girl.
My vapid sight was now filled with bright colors,
mostly many shades of pink.
But what better outlook on life could there possibly be?
I could not stand a world without you; my daughter, my pride.
You're the one thing I know I've done right.
You are the one bright thing, I will ever need
in this world of black and white.
