All I needed

all I needed was you,

when I needed you the most,

you were always there.

as the days got hotter,

and life got harder,

you were always there.

most people are afraid of you.

some people crave your love.

some won't believe in you.

they spit at your name,

walk on your blood,

but what they don't understand,

is that you still love,

me,

them,

us,

you gaze from above,

protect,

resurrect,

all I needed was you,

all I have is you,

people are ashamed to say your name,

but it's a shame,

because,

God,

you're the only one I want to claim,

all I need is you.
