All I needed

All I needed was you
You weren’t always there but when you were
Life was this perfectly imperfect picture
That kind of picture that just moves you
Even when you’re standing still.

All I needed was you
You left me cold and hopeless
When I tried to move on my shoes stuck
They stuck to the floor like glue
But when you came back and I was free

All I needed was you
But I didn’t want to need you
You left me so many times
Broken and alone
Stuck standing still

Even though all I needed was you
I’m moving on from your glue
I hope you find something better to do
Other than breaking and leaving
Cause’ pretty soon someone will do that to you
