All I Really Need
I see you when I go to sleep, and when I wake each day,
and when i hear you speak to me, you take my breath away.
I love it when you give me hugs, and lots of snuggles too,
and when I look into your eyes, I see my future with you.
You smiled at me, and joked around,
but I didn't have a clue,
That I'd soon fall for you that night,
and all i needed was you.
We laugh and talk, and work all day, but you come round each night,
we'll drink and dance, and always then, you hold me with all your might.
It's bedtime now, it's getting late, you carry me off to bed,
and when I turn and see your face, you kiss me on the head.
I watch you slowly drift to sleep, and seeing you i knew,
from the first time we met 'til the day we part,
All I really needed was you.
