all I see

I Open my eyes and all I see, Is the death and tragedy in front of me. I see a million faces So many differences yet still so much the same. To some, life is nothing but a game. To others it’s as serious as can be. Like the death and tragedy in front of me. I see a million faces All staring back But seeing nothing but jet black All looking for answers But finding none Some only finding the barrel of a gun. I open my eyes and all I see Is me. With nothing to do, no one to see, And no one to hold my hand and tell me it’s ok. No one to help me live another day. I open my eyes and all I see Is nothing My eyes aren’t open I see darkness Then the light Them I realize I could be happy and peaceful here. I just might
