All I want

You use to be so sweet, kind, and loving. You treated me like I was someone real and special. Every second we spent getting to know each other was like unwrapping a present. We had so much in common. I had you in that special part of my heart where you belong. You dedicated that sweet song that would remind you of me. I was your little angel and your Miss Perfect. You became unloving, we weren't sweet or kind. You say that’s who you are but I want you to be my best friend and that person you use to be. I want to be your little angel, your miss perfect again. All I want is for you to be the person I fell in love with.

What a great finish line! This is a great coming of age poem. Ever consider collaborating on a poem? It's very rewarding!

I wrote this about a person that once meant the world to me.
