All I Want

It all started when I took one look And you took my breathe away, what a crook I asked around and made sure it was fine Prayin' no one would say, nope she's mine When I first texted I told you I was bored Then came an excuse to take you out in my ford You started to open up and get loose It was an unspoken truce When we share what's broken There's no holding back when we're jokin' Everything started to come together Rain or shine, it was perfect weather I went in and I stole that special kiss Found cool places where I reminisced Told you everything that I missed From then on out I wanted to know what you were all about We walked through the park When all you could see was the pitch dark But lemme tell you, you made a mark Not sure if it was the sketchy parking lots Maybe it was the romantic spots Or gazing into the sky, and watching the gigantic dots But we shared our beloved past And dang did we learn fast We decided to try and make it last The fire started and shined like a candle But you told me you couldn't handle Any emotional abuse I said baby I'm not sitting here tryna amuse I think about you whenever I cruise Listenin' to those blues Forever I'm jammin' Lately my time has been crammin' Just so I can have time to conversate I gotta figure out if you can feel the fate I'm laying everything out on a plate So sit down and have a meal All I want is for us to be real And every time I start to peel away At those walls that just won't fray I feel this magic I want you to laugh at the tragic I hope you know you'll never feel nostalgic Everybody started to criticize But one look and you hypnotize I can see right through your disguise And stare into your eyes In my stomach, I feel the butterflies My heart begins to mend those broken ties Tired of all the lies, everyone else has told That's why, when you're around I feel bold I listen to your feelings like they are gold And I can tell you're scared of the cold Everyone who had to fool you Those that were cruel to you But baby I am true to you I want to introduce you I want to break loose with you I want to make memories with you The kind that are remedies for depression We have that connection You keep asking "Are you leading me in a different direction? And I try to tell you Even if my words are clever I would never use them as a lever To stray you in a way That would make you decay When I tell you, "You're special." I'm not trying to wrestle With you're precious little heart Because that's what I want to become apart Hopefully your mind will start To understand that I don't want to part But only time will tell When we go through heaven and hell But, I think you've got me under a spell One look at your beauty and I quell All I want is for you and me Maybe I'm on the verge of insanity It's crazy, you don't have the vanity And I plan to be Around for the long run Watching the change between the moon and sun It's crazy to watch the time go Sitting sin sorrow Everyday I hope we will last 'til tomorrow
