All I want

The hot sand burning my feet

And being beaten by the waves of the sea

Nothing caught my attention except

My steps

There I was being drawn to the flame

But I wasn’t the one to blame

I didn’t want it to leave me

Alone in the dark sea

I was getting closer to the light

And I wouldn’t leave it without a fight

But then it started changing

The colors started fading

I wept tears of despair

In the middle of no where

Now who would wake me up in the morning?

And take me away from my mourning

Nobody understands me

Except this light by the sea

Now it has gone forever

And I will see it never

This world will be thrown into darkness

Without the light’s happiness

Being separated from it killed me

And left me alone with the sea
