All I Would Need

If I were stranded

On an island alone

Away from my family

And far from my home

I would look deep in the sand

And high in the trees

But I wouldn't find one thing

That would be useful to me.

Then I would sit and think

"What all do I need"?

Matthew 17:20 says it best

"..faith as a grain of mustard seed.."

Faith the size of a seed

Could move mountains alone

So why not use faith

To take me back home?

Faith was my life guard

And faith was my boat

When my head seemed to go under

Faith was my float.

Alone on that island

When the waters crashed and wailed

I was not afraid

Because my faith availed.

While sitting and thinking

about all I would need

I could only think of

"Faith as a mustard seed"
