All It Takes
Family of four, United and Strong.
Nothing holding us back,
Following our dreams and aspirations,
Starting from the border and moving forward.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Family always being number one,
doing what we can to keep it strong
Head of the family always being the dad,
next in line,
Mom.
What they say goes.
Mommy and Daddy taking care of me,
MY sister, MY world.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Dad being the head of the family,
working to give his family the best.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Education being top of the list;
First to attend college in the United States,
keeping up
with traditions from many generations.
Leaving home.
Missing home.
Quiet Home.
Picture albums with unforgettable moments:
Parents wedding,
The birth of their children- Joselyn and Jeovanna,
Baptisms to follow,
First communions to follow traditions.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Starting from birth until you leave home.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Remembering the smell of the loving, caring home,
pozole, tortillas, frijoles.
Home cooked meals made from mom,
nothing better than that.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Having dad come home from a tough day at work,
leaving home before 6 am to coming back at 9 pm.
Installing floors all day long.
Tired, sweaty, and out of breath.
Greeting him with a huge bear hug and a kiss.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Sister running around,
screaming, laughing, being a four-year-old girl.
Living with traditions from many generations.
Leaving home.
Missing home.
Quiet Home.
Seeing my family, United and Strong
Living with traditions from many generations.
