all the lies i told myself

i'm fine, i'm fine, i'm fine.

the sunset's coming in and i'm going to bed for the fifth time since

5pm.

i'm fine, i'm fine, i'm definitely not caving in,

if that's what you think.

and sometimes when i'm all alone in my bed

under the sky of a city i've yet to get to know,

i think about all the lies i told myself.

i'm not caving in this year, i tell myself as i follow

the instructions just right, wrap up my hands for a fight.

i'm not caving in this year.

i think about all the lies i told myself.

i'm fine, i'm fine, i'm fine,

staring from the roof to the skyline.

i'm not caving in this year.

i thought about all the lies i told myself.
