All the Little Whispers

Do you hear
That small whisper?
Full of fear,
That little flicker.
Fragile and small,
Growing and feeling.
Alas they all fall
Ever revealing
A darkness for life
In hearts does linger.
That constant strife
A death bringer.
Conceived in error
Cries of tumult
Lost in terror
Forgotten in revolt.
But they remain,
Through their dereliction,
Crying to creators in vain
As is a corpse’s restriction.
