All looking for love

We look for short smiles while were crossing the street
A pair of sparkling eyes in a crowd of beautiful people
Someone to hold our hand when were scared
Picnics at the park while birds chirp our names
Awe-filled gazes when we aren't even looking
Friendships that will last far after forever has passed
Bursting sounds of laughter
And silent moments of pain
Anonymous notes or acts of kindness
Soft lips to kiss
And warm arms to hug
Someone who will leave bouquets of flowers on our gravesites long after we've been gone
We look for things that will never leave
And moments that are forever cherished
Whether you realize it or not,
We're all looking for love
